In a joint operation, the Indian Army’s 34 Rashtriya Rifles, Special Operations Group (SOG) Shopian, and CRPF 178 Battalion arrested two terrorist associates in the DK Pora area of Shopian district, Jammu and Kashmir.
The security forces also recovered and seized two pistols, four grenades, 43 live rounds and other incriminating materials from the site.
The Shopian police have registered an FIR and further investigation is going on.
Earlier, on 15 May, three unidentified terrorist killed in the encounter at Nader, Tral area of Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir by Police and security Forces.
Earlier on May 13, Three terrorists including the local commander of LeT/ TRF encounter. The three were actively involved in recent terror activities in the region. Recoveries from the operation include AK series rifles, large quantity of ammunition, grenades and other war like stores.
