The Details of Events of Ram Mandir Inauguration ceremony

Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Event Date and Location:

The auspicious Prana Pratishtha yoga of Bhagwan Shri Ram Lalla will take place on the approaching Paush Shukla Kurma Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080, which is Monday, January 22nd, 2024 at Ayodhya.

Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Scriptural rules and Pre-Ceremony Rituals:

Following all Shastriya rules, the Prana Pratistha programme will take place in the afternoon at Abhijeet Muhurta. The formal procedures for pre-Prana Pratistha sacraments will begin from today January 16th, and continue until January 21st, 2024.

The Dwadash Adhivas protocol will be as follows:

  • January 16th: Prayaschita and Karmakuti Poojan โ€“
  • January 17th: Parisar Pravesh of the Murti โ€“
  • January 18th (Evening): Teerth Poojan, Jal Yatra, and Gandhadhivas โ€“
  • January 19th (Morning): Aushadhadhivas, Kesaradhivas, and Ghritadhivas โ€“
  • January 19th (Evening): Dhanyad
  • 20th January (Morning): Sharkaradhivas, Phaladhivas
  • 20th January (Evening): Pushpadhivas
  • 21st January (Morning): Madhyadhivas
  • 21st January (Evening): Shaiyadhivas

Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Adhivas Protocols and Acharyas:

Typically, there are seven Adhivasas in the Prana Pratistha ceremony, with at least three Adhivasas in use. There will be 121 Acharyas performing the rites. Shri Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid Ji will oversee, coordinate, anchor, and direct the Anushthan’s activities, with Shri Luckshmikant Dixit of Kashi serving as the principal Acharya.

Distinguished Guests:

The Prana Pratishtha will be held in the august presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bharat Shri Narendra Modi Ji. There will also be present Pujaniya Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Shri Mohan Bhagwat Ji, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Smt Anandiben Patel Ji, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj, and other dignitaries.

Diverse Representation:

Acharyas from all schools of Bharatiya spiritualism, religion, sect, system of worship, tradition, Sants from over 150 traditions, Mahamandaleshwars, Mandaleshwars, Shrimahants, Mahants, Nagas, as well as leading figures from over 50 Adivasi, Girivasi, Tatavasi, and Dwipavasi tribal traditions, will be present to witness the Prana Pratistha ceremony at the Bhavya Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.

Historic Tribal Representation:

The existence of tribal traditions represented by people from hills, forests, coastal belts, islands, and so on is unprecedented in Bharat’s recent history. It will be distinctive.

Inclusive Traditions on Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony:

The traditions include Shaiva, Vaishnav, Shaakta, Ganapatya, Patya, Sikh, Bauddha, Jain, Dashnam, Shankar, Ramanand, Ramanuj, Nimbarka, Madhva, Vishnu Nami, Ramsanehi, Ghisapanthi, Valmiki, Shankardev (Assam), Madhav Dev, ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission, Chinmaya Mission, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Parivar, Anukul Chandra, Thakur Parampara, Mahima Samaj of Odisha, Akali, Nirankari, Namdhari from Punjab, Radhasoami, and Swaminarayan, Varkari, Veer Shaiva, etc.

Darshan and Celebration:

Following the completion of the Prana Pratishtha programme at the Garbha-Griha, all witnesses will have darshan. There is widespread appreciation for Shri Ram Lalla’s Prana Pratishtha. It has been decided to commemorate it with tremendous enthusiasm throughout Bharat, including Ayodhya. Throughout the run-up to the ceremony, people from various states arrive with water, dirt, gold, silver, gems, garments, jewellery, massive bells, drums, aroma/fragrance goods, and so on. The most notable among them were the Bhaars (gifts sent when establishing a daughter’s house) sent from Maa Janaki’s maternal homes in Janakpur (Nepal) and Sitamarhi (Bihar), which a large number of people carried to Ayodhya, as well as gifts of various types of jewellery, etc., offered by the Nanihal in Raipur’s Dandakaranya area.
