PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited to Mahakumbh Mela at Prayajraj, Uttar Pradesh. There he took holy dip at the Triveni Sangam at Mahakumbh Mela.
The prime minister stood in the river, holding ‘rudraksha’ beads and chanting mantras, offering prayers while taking holy dip.
PM Narendra Modi stated through social media, โBlessed to be at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The Snan at the Sangam is a moment of divine connection, and like the crores of others who have taken part in it, I was also filled with a spirit of devotion. May Maa Ganga bless all with peace, wisdom, good health and harmony.โ
He also added, โAt the Prayagraj Mahakumbh today, I had the great fortune of taking a holy dip in the sacred Sangam and performing prayers. Receiving the blessings of Mother Ganga has brought immense peace and satisfaction to my heart. I prayed for the happiness, prosperity, health, and well-being of all my fellow countrymen. Har Har Gange!โ
Earlier, Narendra Modi took a boat ride with CM Yogi Adityanath at Mahakumbh.
Mahakumbh Mela has started from January 13, 2025 during Paush Purnima and will continue till February 26, during Maha Shivaratri.
Mahakumbh is the spiritual largest gathering in the world, which attracts devotee from all over the world.
