IB ACIO Recruitment 2023: Intelligence Bureau has released a notification for the post of 995 Assistant Central Intelligence Officer- Grade II. The online applications are invited from Indian National for direct recruitment to the post. The post is classified as a General Central Service, Group c (Non-Gazed, Non-Ministerial) post. Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from any recognized university.
Age limit
Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 27 years
Age relaxation:
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
Upper age limit is relaxable for departmental candidates upto 40 years of age who have rendered 3 years of regular and continuous service.
Pay scale of the post:
Level 7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.
IB ACIO Recruitment 2023 Selection process:
Written exam:
- Tier-I exam: 100 objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each on: Current affairs, General Studies, Numerical aptitude, Reasoning/logical aptitude and English. Time 1 hour and marks 100. There will be negative marking of ¼ marks for each wrong numbers.
- Tier-II: Descriptive type paper of 50 marks: Easy (30 marks) & English comprehension & prices writing (20 marks)
- Interview: Tier-III/Interview. 100 marks
Examination Fee:
- ₹ 450/- (₹ 400/- for Examination Fee + ₹ 50/- for processing charge) for all candidates.
- ₹ 100/- exam fee in addition charges for Male candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories.
- The fee can be made through Offline / Online Mode.
