About the Fighter movie Plot
The plot revolves around the Indian Armed Forces’ Balakot airstrike in the town of Balakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. This counter-airstrike targeted the purported main camp of the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). This was in response to a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir that claimed the lives of over 40 CRPF soldiers.
The protagonist, Hrithik Roshan, plays Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, commonly known as Patty. Deepika Padukone stars as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, also known as Minni, while Anil Kapoor plays Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, also known as Rocky.
