In a major crackdown, Cachar police seized a huge amount Yaba Tablets worth Rs 3 Crore on April 23.
Based on inputs, Cachar police launched an operation in the area of Sildubi, from where police managed to seized 10,000 Yaba Tablets. One person arrested in connection of it.
Police believe the drugs were meant to be sold in the region and possibly other areas too.
Yaba tablets contain methamphetamine, a highly addictive and illegal drug in India.
This operation is under Assam Against Drugs. Further investigation is going on.
