Gautam Gambhir Gets Two Death Threat Email

India’s Men’s Cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir received two death threat email from ISIS Kashmir on April 22, the same day of terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

The former BJP MP Gautam Gambhir gets two death threat email with the message written ‘I KILL YOU’ from a sender claiming to be ISIS Kahmir.

After receiving a threat, Gautam Gambhir went to the Delhi Police on Wednesday and seeks for immediate action. He formally filed an FIR, according to officials from Rajinder Nagar Police Station and Central Delhi DCP.

DCP (Central) M Harsha Vardhan said that “We have informed about an alleged threat mail received on an email ID associated with Gautam Gambhir. The matter is under investigation”

He also requested the police to take all necessary steps to protect his family and ensure their safety.

On Tuesday, April 22 he has received two death threat emails, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. Both the mails are contain with the message “IKILLU”.

This is not the first time that Gautam Gambhir has faced such threats. Day back in 2021, November, during his tenure as MP he has received a similar email.

Delhi Police is currently investigating the matter.

On Tuesday, Gautam Gambhir stated on Pahalgam Terror Attack, “Praying for the families of the deceased. Those responsible for this will pay. India will strike.”
