A significant arms and ammunition seized near Bhutan border in Tamulpur district of Assam on Wednesday (September 11). The arms and ammunition include grenades and handmade gun.
This recovery was led by Tamulpur police and Sashastra Seema Bal, which indicates a potential threat to regional security.
According to reports, two handmade guns, eight grenades, several bows and arrows recovered from Pamkhei Darangmela in Tamulpur district, near the Bhutan border.
The recovery was made by a team led by Abhijit Gogoi, officer-in-charge of Darrangmela Police Station, in coordination with the 64th Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
