In HSLC Exam Sribhumi district has got the lowest percentage of 47.96%, in the entire state, which was declared on April 11. A total number of 43 schools of Sribhumi district recorded below 30% passing rate.
After the poor results in the 2025 HSLC Exam, the Inspector of Schools in Sribhumi District, Sri Neelam Jyoti Das, issued show-cause notices to principals and headmasters of all government and provincialized high schools with pass rates below 30%.
The notice sent to the Poorly performing school, which has highlighted serious concerns regarding classroom irregularities, administrative inefficiencies and an overall lack of effective academic management.
In the notice Sribhumi School Inspector wrote, “The result also shows that classes are not being held regularly and properly in your school, hence depriving students from their right to get good quality education to secure their future.”
The notice stated that schools heads to explain within 3 days or face possible disciplinerary action under the education rules if they are found responsible.
For Further, a meeting has called to discuss the district’s poor exam results. It will be held on May 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bhikamchand Balika Vidyaniketan H.S. School, Sribhumi. All heads of low-performing schools must attend.
