Three individual arrested for supporting Pakistan via post on Facebook in Assam’s Silchar and Sribhumi of Barak valley.
On Friday night one individual name Mustak Ahmed (Sahil Hoque on Facebook) has been arrested by Sribhumi police for posting Pakistan Zindabad on Facebook post. He is from Saykut village under Karimganj Police Station.
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has said via X, “Md Mustak Ahmed @ Sahel, son of Kabir Ahmed from Saykut village under Karimganj Police Station, was arrested last night for posting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ on Facebook.”
Another two is from Cachar’s Silchar. Cachar police arrested two individual for supporting Pakistan through Facebook contents.
They identified as Baktar Hussain Barbhuiya, resident of Ramnagar under Sonai Police Station. Md. Imran Hussain Borbhuiya, resident of Malugram Ganiwala under Silchar Police Station.
CM Himanta Biswa stated, “Cachar Police has arrested two more individuals for posting content supporting Pakistan on social media: •Baktar Hussain Barbhuiya, resident of Ramnagar under Sonai Police Station. •Md. Imran Hussain Borbhuiya, resident of Malugram Ganiwala under Silchar Police Station”
On Friday, Assam Police arrested a total of 8 individual promoting anti-national sentiments.

Hailakandi – Md. Jabir Hussain
Silchar – Md. A.K. Bahauddin, Md. Javed Mazumder
Morigaon – Md. Mahahar Mia @ Md. Mujihirul Islam
Nagaon – Md. Aminul Islam
Sivasagar – Md. Sahil Ali
A total of 11 individual arrested in Assam for supporting Pakistan after Pahalgam Terror Attack on April 22.
Earlier Assam CM stated, “Assam will not tolerate any individual who, directly or indirectly, supports or defends Pakistan in connection with the heinous attack in Pahalgam.”
