A shocking incident come out from Cachar dstrict, Assam, where two school students abducted and allegedly raped them in Mizoram by two youth.
The families of victims girls filed First Information Report (FIR) against the individual. The girls were on the way to school in the area of Lailapur under Dholai Constituency on September 17, where two youth abducted or forcefully taken them through four-wheeler vehicle.
The accused allegedly used a car (AS11-Z-6366) to abducted the minor girls from the location in the neighbouring state of Mizoram, reported in Assam Tribune.
The youth identified as Royel Jameen Lashkar and Azad Hussain.
According FIR, the girls were kept in a room in Mizoram where the girls were raped before being left in the Channighat area of Narsingpur Tehsil. When the family known about the incident, they asked the police for help to find the girls. The accused fled from the scene after they dropped the girls at Channighat area of Narsingpur Tehsil.
This youth are in run. This incident has shocked the area and highlight the urgent need of safety for women security.
The Authorities also found that one of the accused has a history of past offenses and had warned by the police before. The police have now filed a case and are investigating the matter.
Mithun Nath, the Silchar Bibhag Sampadak of VHP, reported that in the past 10 days, at least 7 cases of crimes against minors have reported in Cachar, calling it a serious concern. He added that the VHP will not remain silent about the issue.
