A tragic incident took place in Karimganj which sent shockwaves, a son murders his own parents, and recited verses from the Quran live in social media before fleeing from the scene.
The heinous incident took place on August 10, where the accused son name Abdul Haleem allegedly entered his family house and attacked his father, Abdul Salem. He attacked him with a sharp weapon known as Dau.
To Save Abdul Salem, Abdul Haleem’s mother Badrun Nessa, tried to stop him and to protect her husband, she also became a victim of her son’s violent outburst. Haleem attacks his mother with the sharp weapon, which leads to immediate death of the father and mother.
Abdul Haleem’s wife fled with their children to save their lives after watching the heinous scene.
After committing the crime, he recited verses from the Quran and posted the recitation on social media before fleeing from the scene.
The locals promptly called the police and they arrived at the scene. The police recovered the bodied and sent them to Karimganj Civil Hospital for Post-mortem. They immediately launched an investigation.
They also recovered the Machete which was used during murder. The reason behind the incident is not known yet.
Nilambazar police arrested the killer, Haleem, from Hanifabad in Achimganj following a trace from the mobile network.
