Early Morning Theft Shocks Community in Silchar
The most recent theft occurred during the early hours of the day, adding to the alarming trend. The thief entered their house by breaking the door and windows.
The thief stole cashes which was kept in the Godrej. One of the reported thefts took place today at around 6:30 am when an audacious thief stole two phones from a house on Radha Madhab Road. The incident unfolded as the occupant, a woman, woke up to use the bathroom. Much to her dismay, she found herself face-to-face with the thief, who swiftly fled the scene with the stolen phones.

Recently Cachar Police arrested many thieves
the Cachar police initiated a robust investigation covering key areas such as Rangirkhari, Tarapur, Malugram, Ghungoor, and more. Employing a strategic approach, five specialized teams were formed for the operation. Notably, three teams were led by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, while the remaining two operated under the command of the Officer in Charge, Silchar.
The well-coordinated operation yielded promising outcomes as 17 individuals suspected of involvement in thefts were successfully apprehended from various parts of Silchar. Currently undergoing thorough interrogation, the suspects will be presented before the honorable court in subsequent phases of the case.
