On July 4, India Cricket team arrived at home land India in New Delhi at around 6:20 am. After receiving welcome, Cricket team India travelled to the ITC Maurya.
At around 11 am they went to Prime Minister Residence to met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They interact with PM Narendra Modi and having breakfast.
PM Modi shared picture with them in social media Platform. He stated, “An excellent meeting with our Champions! Hosted the World Cup winning team at 7, LKM and had a memorable conversation on their experiences through the tournament.”
Narendra Modi also shared a video clip of meeting with them.

During India team meeting with PM they all wore a special jersey. The Jersy sported with two star over BCCI’s emblem. The two stars implies that they won two times in T20 World Cup. In the Jersey ‘CHAMPIONS’ was written in bold letters. They all seen very happy in the photo.
The BCCI also shares a post by stating, “The triumphant Indian Cricket Team met with the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modiji, at his official residence today upon arrival. Later in the same day they will arrive at Mumbai where grant victory parade has been prepared for team India Cricket team at the Mariene Drive and Wankhede Stadium.
There will be no entry fee to the public for India team’s grand victory parade said Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) Secretary Ajinkya Naik.
