A shocking incident took place in Sribhumi, Assam where a minor girl rapped by a 50 years old man. The incident came into fore on April 3.
According to information, the girl is mentally distressed. The incident took place in Gandhai village in Nilambazar, Sribhumi.
Police arrested the 50 years old accused Fariz Uddin in connection of it. Further investigation is going on.
Earlier, three man attempt to raped woman in an empty moving bus travelling from Badarpur to Sribhumi. Massive protest took place outside the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) office on April 1, and also on April 2 demanding of the arrest of the accused.
On April 2, two individual arrested in connection of it. The accused identified as Jashmin Uddin Laskar from Panchgram and occupant Abul Salam from Silchar. A case registered in Badarpur Police Station.
