Karimganj Robbery: On August 31, a robbery incident took place, where a business man robbed by a group of miscreants in Karimganj, Assam in late night.
According to reports, the incident took place at the area of Kaliganj, Khudrakandi under Karimganj district of Assam. The businessman Imran Hussain, from Khudrakandi, was transporting the money by his manager from his home in the area, where a group miscreants with sharp weapon forcefully stop the vehicle. They attack the vehicle as well as Devanjan Baish, and the driver and lotted Rs 4 Lakh cash from them. After the incident all the miscreants fled from the scene.
In response to the crime an FIR has been filed at the Kaliganj police station. The authorities have identified 12 suspects involved in the robbery and have started a thorough investigation to catch them
