A tragic incident took place in Kalain, Cachar where a woman died due to poisoning on March 29. According to reports, that her husband allegedly forced her to consume the poison which led to death.
The victim’s family accused Sahin Ahmed the husband, poisoned her because of his extramarital affair as the motive behind the heinous act.
After consuming the poison, she immediately rushed to hospital. Despite medical effort the woman died during treatment.
Following the death of the woman, Police immediately arrest the husband Sahin, and launched investigation to know the real reason behind the step.
Further investigation is going on. The family of the victim urged the authorities for a thorough and fair investigation in the case. They also urged punishment of the man.
