Acting on tip-off, a City Guwahati Police Department team from Paltan Bazaar PS conducted a raid at New Star Beauty & Spa Salon in Ulubari on Tuesday.
In this raid police recovered and seized illegal substance of 7 vials of suspected Heroin, weighing 9.28 gms, & 9 wraps of Ganja, weighing 81.05 gms from the Salon. Three people arrested and the seized items recovered from their possession.
The arrested individual identified as Saleha Khatun (21) of Dalgaon, Trisha Das (23) of Latasil & Munni Khan (24) of Abhayapuri.
The Police has started legal action against the suspects under the NDPS Act. Further investigation is going on.
Police also urged the people to report any suspicious activities to ensure law and order.
A team City Guwahati Police Department Pan Bazar PS acted on an intel one Sairuddin Ali (20) of Bilasipara after he was caught with 18 vials of suspected Heroin, weighing 23.59 gms, at near No 2 Rail Gate. Legal action initiated.
