The team of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption has trapped red handed two government employees in the connection of bribery case in Kamrup.
On 22 April, a team of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption has launched an operation based on complaint to catch government employees who accept bribe for work in Kamrup district. In this operation two government employees caught red handed when they accepting demanded bribe.
They trapped red handed when a Gaon Pradhan of Khameri gaon Hazarat Ali has accepted demanded bribe in Officer Of the Nagarbera Revenue Circle, District-Kamrup, in conspiracy with Anup Kr. Choudhury, Lot Mandal for namjari related works.
In the same trap Lot Mandal Anup Kr. Choudhary of officer of the Nagarbera Revenue Circle, Dist.-Kamrup, also arrested for demanding bribe and accepting it through the Gaon Pradhan, in conspiracy with him.
According to Sources a complaint was lodged with the Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, alleging misconduct by Anup Kumar Choudhury, a Lat Mandal at the office of the Circle Officer, Nagarbera Revenue Circle. The complaint suggests that Choudhury, in collaboration with Hajarat Ali, the Gaon Pradhan of Khameri Gaon, solicited a bribe of Rs. 15,000 from the complainant for Namjari-related tasks. After this the operation conduct.
The Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption has announced this news via. social media. They wrote, “Today DIR_VAC_ASSAM trapped red handed Hazarat Ali, Gaon Pradhan, Khameri gaon, after he accepted bribe in O/O the Nagarbera Revenue Circle, District-Kamrup, in conspiracy with Anup Kr. Choudhury, Lot Mandal for namjari related works.”
They also wrote, “In the same trap operation, Anup Kr. Choudhury, Lot Mandal of O/O the Nagarbera Revenue Circle, Dist- Kamrup, has also been apprehended for demanding bribe and accepting it through the Gaon Pradhan, in conspiracy with him.”
