Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh: A 9 years old boy suffered major injured after a mobile phone exploded in his hand while it was charging.
The incident took place in the village of Kalkoti Dewari in the area of Chaurai of the Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh. At the time of the incident both boy’s father and mother were working in the fields.
Father of the boy Hardyal Singh said, he and his wife were in the field at the time when the incident occurred. He said that their son was at home with his friend and watching cartoon on mobile phone which was plugged for charging and the phone exploded, causing several injuries to his hand and thigh.
The boy’s father said, “We were in the fields when the neighbour told us about the accident, after which we came running. After examining him, the doctor referred him to a hospital in Chhindwara. He has injuries on both his hands and thighs. Another child was injured and was treated at a local hospital.”
The boy currently sifted to surgical ward and he is in stable condition now, according to Dr. Anurag Vishkarma of district hospital Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh.
The doctor said, “After receiving first aid, he was moved to the surgical ward. His condition is now stable, but he has deep injuries on his legs and hands.”
