A Road Accident took place in Udharbond on December 8, where three people injured critically. The three injured person identified as Aman Bhattacharjee age 19, from Tarapur Shibbari, Silchar; Nitu Das age 22 from same area, Farooq Ahmed Mazumdar from Rangpur Arkatipur, Silchar.
According to information, the incident occurred at around 8 pm on Monday at the area of Gasaipur’s 4.5 Mile, on National high way.
Reports suggest that Farooq Ahmed was returning home to Arkatipur from Udharbond on his scooter when a speeding Eon car struck his vehicle from behind. The impact threw Farooq onto the highway, causing injuries. The car then crashed into a stationary tipper truck, seriously injuring Aman Bhattacharjee and Nitu Das, who were nearby.
After receiving about the incident Assistant Sub-Inspector Ranjit Sinha and his team from Udharbond Police Station arrived quickly and took the injured to Udharbond Primary Health Centre. Due to the severity of their injuries, they were transferred to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for advanced treatment, where they are now receiving care.
