Three PWD workers injured after an old wall collapsed on them on Monday night while working at Athgaon area of Guwahati city.
On Monday night three Public Works Department (PWD) workers injured after an old wall fall on them while they were working on the drainage system.
According to reports, the incident took place near Chabipul Chariali near the Athgaon locality. At the time the wall collapsed the workers were working on grainage system of the area.
The injured workers immediately rushed to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for immediate treatment. Initials reports suggest that one of the injured workers remain critical.
The PWD is carrying out drainage work across the city, including digging and dredging, to manage excess water during the monsoon. Many workers are involved in these projects throughout Guwahati.
