In wee hours of December 27, a daring thief targeted the Silchar News Office he had stolen many things which included a CCTV adapter, a CPU, hard disks, a GoPro camera, a wireless microphone, 13 D DSLR, sound cart, a sum of cash kept on a Godrej, a JIO Fiber and many more valuable things. The stolen items estimated more than 2 lakh. This incident leaving the news office staff and management reeling from the audacity of the crime.

A CCTV footage has found from a neighbour where we can see the thief enter the office by covering his face with his arm. The thief doesnot wear any cloth except a half pant.
