Assam Police launched an operation in Guwahati on April 10, from where police arrested a leader of a suspected Kuki militant.
According to police, they conduct a raid at Boragaon area of the city, based on secret inputs. From this area police managed to arrested suspected Militant leader Haolungmang Samta. He has reportedly been hiding in Guwahati for a long period of time before arrest.
Manipur Police arrived in Guwahati to take custody of the suspect authorities confirmed.
Police have not yet released about the charges that he had arrested. They also didn’t stated about when he would be transported back to Manipur for further legal proceedings.
