SSB Recruitment 2023: Sahastra Seema Bal has released a notification for the sportsperson for the post of 272 vacancies for General Central Service, Group ‘c’ Non-Gazetted, (Non-Ministerial) Sashatra Seema Bal, Government Of India, Ministry of Home Affairs. Name of the post: Constable (General Duty)

No. of Vacancy: 272 Vacancies

Pay Scale:

The post will carry Pay Matrix Rs.21,700-69,100/- (Level-3) as per 7^th CPC and other allowances as admissible in the force from time to time under the rules/Instruction.

Nationality and Citizenship: A candidate must be

• A citizen of India
• A Subject of Nepal or
• A subject of Bhutan

Educational Qualification

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or institute

Sports Qualification

(i) Players who have represented in any recognized International, events representing the country. Or

(ii) Players represented a State/UT in the Senior or Junior level National championship Or

(iii) Players represented a University in an Inter-University competition. Or

(iv) Players represented the State Schools in the National Sports/Games for Schools. Or

(v) Players awarded National Award in physical efficiency under National physical efficiency Drive.
 (Note: Sports qualification will be taken on consideration of the participation / achievements by the candidates in the past 02 .)

Age Limit

A Candidate must be 18 to 23 years for the post

Selection Process

1. Stage-I for candidate with International participation/medal winners and National medal winner’s upto 3^rd
2. Stage-II the second stage of recruitment will be conducted for other eligible candidates, if vacancies unfilled after selection of candidates having medals/participations in International and medals winners in national competitions upto 3^rd place
