Name of the post: Constable (General Duty)
No. of Vacancy: 272 Vacancies
Pay Scale:
The post will carry Pay Matrix Rs.21,700-69,100/- (Level-3) as per 7th CPC and other allowances as admissible in the force from time to time under the rules/Instruction.
Nationality and Citizenship: A candidate must be
- A citizen of India
- A Subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or institute
Sports Qualification
(i) Players who have represented in any recognized International, events representing the country. Or
(ii) Players represented a State/UT in the Senior or Junior level National championship Or
(iii) Players represented a University in an Inter-University competition. Or
(iv) Players represented the State Schools in the National Sports/Games for Schools. Or
(v) Players awarded National Award in physical efficiency under National physical efficiency Drive.
(Note: Sports qualification will be taken on consideration of the participation / achievements by the candidates in the past 02 .)
Age Limit
A Candidate must be 18 to 23 years for the post

Selection Process
- Stage-I for candidate with International participation/medal winners and National medal winner’s upto 3rd
- Stage-II the second stage of recruitment will be conducted for other eligible candidates, if vacancies unfilled after selection of candidates having medals/participations in International and medals winners in national competitions upto 3rd place
