Based on reliable inputs, Sribhumi Police conduct an operation at Radha Peyari Bazar, Sribhumi and intercepted an Alto vehicle coming towards from neigbouring state.
After searching the vehicle police managed to recover huge amount of Heroin worth Rs 3 crore from a hidden chamber.
Police recovered and seized 60 soap boxes containing 670 grams of suspected heroin. Police also arrested four individual in connection of it.
The arrested identified as Saif Uddin, Jashim Uddin, Torhad Hussain, and Zakir Hussain.
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma stated, “Based on reliable inputs, an anti narcotics operation was conducted at Radha Pyaare Bazar where a vehicle coming from a neighbouring State was intercepted by @ sribhumi police which led to recovery of 670gms of heroin. Three persons were apprehended in this regard and on further investigation one dealer was also arrested. Good job @assampolice”
