A Shocking incident come out from Silchar, Assam where a police constable took his own life with service rifle in Silchar Circuit House on October 19.
The incident occurred at around noon when the constable Ishwar Sinha was on duty. He shot himself in the head by his service rifle in the security guard room.
Silchar police swiftly arrived at the scene after receiving about the incident and sent the body at the Silchar Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination. The department is shocked about the incident, the reason behind this decision is not known till now.
Additional SP of Cachar district, Subrata Sen immediately rushed at the scene, overseeing the recovery body and ensured that it was sent to the SMCH for post-mortem.
According to some information suggest that he has taken this step under significant family pressure by no official confirmation has been made regarding the motive behind the step.
Ishwar Sinha had been working at the Circuit House for the last six months. According to sources, Sinha used his service rifle, placing the barrel in his mouth before pulling the trigger, which resulted in a fatal gunshot wound. The police have not yet made an official statement about the incident.
