An Officer-in-charge (OC) of Athani Police Station in Bilasipara, Dhubri, Assam suspended over allegations of corruption, sources said.

The incident of the scandal of corruption came into light after a video goes viral on social media, where the officer in vehicle took cash from individuals. This incident has sparked outrage among the locals residents and accusing Rabha of using his position for personal benefit.
Local organizations and residents demanded action against the police officer. They also urged the Dhubri Superintendent of Police and DGP G.P. Singh to investigate and take strict action against Rabha.
Responding to locals complaints, authorities acted quickly and suspended him.
This is not the first time Rabha has faced such allegations, as he has been accused of corrupt practices in the past as well.
