Open AI has launched new tier subscription plan called ChatGPT Go in India at just Rs 399 per month. The plan is aimed at giving Indian users wider access to premium features at a budget-friendly rate.
With ChatGPT Go, subscribers will get benefits such as:

- Image generation using AI
- File uploads for quicker responses
- Extended memory to retain chat history
This new plan offers many of the most popular features of ChatGPT at a fraction of the cost of the ChatGPTPlus plan, making advanced AI tools more accessible to Indian users.
Vice President and head of ChatGPTApp announced through X on 19 August, 2025. He stated, “We just launchedChatGPT Go in India, a new subscription tier that gives users in India more access to our most popular features: 10x higher message limits, 10x more image generations, 10x more file uploads, and 2x longer memory compared with our free tier. All for Rs. 399.”
He also added, “All users in India will now see prices for subscriptions in Indian Rupees, and can now pay through UPI.”
