Cachar Police successfully arrested the notorious dacoit, Mohibul from the Kalain area. Following tip off, Police conduct operation in disguise to avoid alerting the accused and arrested him on June 12.
According to sources, Mohibul has multiple criminal cases pending against him, including several armed robbery charges. He had long evaded capture and was considered a high-priority target by local law enforcement.
Following his arrest, the dacoit Mohibul was taken to the Silchar Sadar Police Station for interrogation and further procedures. On Saturday, he was presented before the court by Sadar police as legal proceedings begin.
