Cut-Off Marks See Major Drop This Year
One of the biggest highlights of this year’s NEET UG result is the significant drop in qualifying cut-off marks across all categories:
- General / EWS candidates now qualify with scores between 686 and 144, a major drop from last year’s 720 to 162.
- OBC, SC, and ST candidates qualify with 143 to 113, lower than the 161 to 127 range in 2024.
- For General-PH, the cut-off is 143–127.
- SC-PH, ST-PH, and OBC-PH candidates qualify with 126–113.
This decrease in cut-off makes more students eligible for the upcoming medical counselling process, enhancing chances for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and other undergraduate medical course admissions.
