The Mumbai Police successfully arrested the shooter who Gun fire in Salman Khan house on Sunday morning. They arrested the accused on late Monday night officials said.

The name of the accused has identified as Vicky Sahab Gupta and Sagar Shrijogendra Pal – who are from Bihar. They were arrested from Gujratโ€™s Bhuj.

On 14 April Gun Shot fired took place at Salman Khan House, Galaxy Apartment in Bandra area of Mumbai.

Officials reported that the accused found hiding in a temple in Bhuj and subsequently arrested by the police following a tip-off.

The two individuals arrived on a motorbike and fired four shots outside Bandra’s Galaxy Apartments, the residence of the actor, around 5 am on Sunday morning before fleeing the scene.

CCTV footage revealed that both suspects were wearing caps and carrying backpacks. The footage also captured them firing towards the actor’s residence.

The accused had purchased a second-hand bike from Raigad district to reach Mr. Khan’s residence. They traveled from Panvel to Mumbai on this bike after renting a house for a month in Panvel.

According to police sources, both men associated with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Bishnoi currently incarcerated in Tihar Jail for his involvement in several high-profile murder cases, including those of musician Sidhu Moose Wala and Rajput leader and Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.

After brought from Gujarat to Mumbai this morning, the accused presented before a Mumbai court, which remanded them to police custody for nine days.

After the gunfire incident outside Mr. Khan’s residence, Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility in an online post, describing it as a “preview” and issuing a warning to the Bollywood actor.

Officials stated that the motorbike, which abandoned near Mount Mary Church, just over a Kilometre from the actor’s house, registered in the name of a resident in the Panvel area of Navi Mumbai. The individual had recently sold the two-wheeler, according to Assistant Commissioner of Police Panvel, Ashok Rajput.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has reached out to the actor, offering assurances of unwavering support and a commitment to upholding the rule of law.

Following the incident, police have bolstered Salman Khan’s security team with additional personnel. The actor has also instructed to inform the Mumbai Police before leaving his residence and advised to remain at home unless necessary.
