Mumbai Local train derailed coach Re-railed at CMST station:-
A Mumbai local train coach derailed from the route on the Panvel-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) which has caused significant disruption to Harbour Line services. The incident took place at 11:43 am when the train was nearing CSMT station, as confirmed by Central Railway officials.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries to passengers as a result of the derailment. However, the Mumbai local train disruption has led to service interruptions along the Harbour Line, affecting commuters traveling towards CSMT.
Authorities have swiftly responded to the situation, deploying personnel to the site to assess the extent of the damage and initiate recovery efforts.
The Central Railway has inform about the incident through there official social media handle called X. They post, โOne trolley of panvel 56 local while arriving at CSMT Platform no. 2 derailed at 11.35 hrs. No injury to any passengers. Harbour line affected. Enroute trains towards CSMT will be brought upto Masjid station. Harbour line services will be operational from & to Vadala. The restoration is in full swing. No repercussions over Main Line services.โ
At around 1: 13 pm the trolley of the derailed coach has been re-railed at the route. The track of the CMST station has now cleared.
The Central Railway officials has accounted it. They said, โThe trolley of the derailed coach was Re-railed at 13.15 hrs. The track cleared at 13.55 hrs.โ
