On October 26, massive fire broke out in the cloth store of Faruq Ahmed Lashkar at Algapur Bazar, Hailakandi. The Fire Service official managed to control the fire, but the shop was left in ashes.
According to information, at around 2:00 am late at night, a massive fire broke out at Algapur Bazar, Hailakandi. The fire broke out at Faruq Ahmed Cloth Store, which turned into ashes. The locals of the area have called the police and fire service.
After receiving the phone, police and fire service immediately rushed to the scene. At least 4 vehicles of the Fire Service went to the scene and managed to control the fire, but the shop turned into ashes.
The reason behind the fire is not known yet, but it is suspected that due to a short circuit, a fire broke out.
Further investigation is going on to find the reason behind the fire.
At least Rs. 20 lakh of goods have been destroyed in the shop in the fire.
