The new generation of Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 has launched today in India with 6.49 Lakh as a starting price. It is the fourth generation which launched in India. Pre-booking for the new generation of the Maruti Suzuki Swift is underway, the interested buyers can book online or at their nearest dealership by making an initial payment of Rs 11,000. Deliveries for the bookings are expected to begin from June 2024.
This new generation of Maruti Suzuki Swift is available across five variants: LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi and ZXi+.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024: Engine and Mileage
In New Generation Maruti has introduced a new 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder Z series engine which is reduction from the four-cylinder engine offered in the previous model. Notably, this latest Swift model diverges from its Japanese counterpart by excluding mild-hybrid technology. The engine is coupled with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT gearbox. By producing 80 bhp of maximum power and 112 Nm of peak torque, slightly lower than the previous iteration. Nevertheless, it achieves an impressive mileage of 25.72 kmpl.
Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024: Dimension and Design
In terms of dimensions, the new Swift is 15mm longer, 40mm narrower, and 30mm taller compared to its predecessor, while maintaining the consistent wheelbase of 2,450mm. The design of the new Swift has undergone significant alterations. While preserving the essence of prior generations, it showcases a revamped grille with an all-black finish, redesigned LED headlights and DRLs, and a relocation of the rear door handles to the doors rather than the C-pillar.
The rear of the vehicle also undergoes modifications to the taillights, accompanied by redesigned alloy wheels. The ZXI+ variant equipped with diamond-cut … inch alloy wheels, whereas the ZXI trim features standard alloy wheels. The other variants offer steel rims, with the VXI variants adorned with wheel covers

Internally, the new Swift undergoes a revamped cabin reminiscent of the Fronx, Brezza, and Baleno, emphasizing a premium ambiance. It boasts a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard, integrating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, along with an upgraded digital instrument cluster.
