On Saturday, protest erupted in Imphal demanding justice for the murder of six people who abducted as hostages from Jiribam on November 11, from refugee camp. This protest erupted after six Meitei people dead bodies found from Jirimukh, Jiribam near the border of Manipur-Assam. There was widespread anger, protests, and condemnation in Thoubal and Kakching districts on Saturday.

The protestor on Saturday, attack 2 Manipur minister houses and three MLA’s houses in Imphal. Due to the attack on legislature houses Manipur administration promptly impose prohibitory orders in the district and suspend Internet for two days in Imphal West, East, Bishnupur, Thoubal, kakching, Kangpokpi and Churachanpur.
Senior officials said that a mob attacked the home of Health and Family Welfare Minister Sapam Ranjan in the Lamphel Sanakeithel area.
Meitei Protesters in the Sagolband area of Imphal West gathered outside the house of BJP legislator RK Imo, the son-in-law of Chief Minister N Biren Singh. They demanded the government take action over the killing of six people and called for the culprits to arrested within 24 hours.
On November 11, gun fight took place between Kuki militants and security forces, where 10 militants killed. On the same day, six Meitei residents were abducted from refugee camp. In this missing people are all women including 60 years old women and an 8 months old child.
