Manipur Violence: CM Biren Singh’s advanced security team who was on the way to the violence-hit Jiribam district was attacked by a group of unidentified militants. The attack was took place near Kotlen village on National Highway-53 at around 10.30 am on June 10.

The Militants open fired multiple gunshot at the vehicles of the security force. In this shoot out one security personal injured who has taken immediately to the hospital for treatment.

In response to this incident, Police commandos and Assam Rifles has launched search operation to find the attackers and make to secure the area.

CM Biren Sing, who is yet to reach Imphal from Delhi and was planning to visit Jiribam, Manipur tomorrow. Manipur CM has sent this advance security team to check the safety of the area.

Earlier on June 6, a Meitei man killed in his farm by unknown miscreants. After this incident some angered locals set fire to abandoned houses which belongs to the Kuki community in the area. On 8 June at around 12.30 am a group of suspected militant attacked a police outpost and set several houses on fire in the Jiribam district of Manipur.

All this attack made in the Jiribam, Manipur where Violence took place. At around 600 people of Jiribam, Manipur has crossed the boarder and took refugee in Cachar.
