A man lost his life in tragic bike accident at Ramnagar Bypass, Silchar on Eid evening at around 7:30 pm, March 31, 2025, while two others sustained sever injured.
The died man identified as Firdaus Alom Barbhuiya, was a resident of Durgapur Village in Borkhola. According to information, Firdaus left his home on his bike (AS-11P-3806), to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr and involved head-on collision with a scooty on Ramngara Bypass, Silchar.
In this collision he lost his life, while two other riders who was on Scooty suffered serious injuries and were rushed to hospital. The two injured identified as Saptarshi Singh and Bishal Singh.
Locals resident of the area and passerby rushed to scene and immediately called emergency service. The emergency services arrived at the accident scene but, Firdaus died at the spot due to his injuries. His dead body was sent to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.
It also found that Firdaus was the only child of his parents.
