Bollywood Actor Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora died by suicide after jumping from a building terrace in Bandra, Mumbai on Wednesday, (September 11) morning, police said. He jumped from seventh floor of a building.
After knowing the incident Malaika’s ex husband Arbaaz Khan and senior police reached their house. The dead of body Malaika Arora’s father has recovered and sent for post-mortem for examination. The investigation is going on, police said.
The reason behind the step is unknown yet.
According to official report the actress was not at home when her father takes the step.
Malaika Arora earlier revealed that she was just 11 years old when her parents, Joyce Polycarp and Anil Arora, went through a divorce. Following the separation, Malaika and her younger sister, Amrita Arora, who was only 6 at the time, were primarily raised by their mother. Joyce Polycarp moved from Thane to Chembur with her two daughters, where she took on the responsibility of raising them on her own.
Malaika Arora has made career in the Bollywood Industry as an actor, model, dancer and video jockey. She also starred in films like Kante and EMI. She also performed famous song as Chaiyya Chaiyya, Mahi Ve, Munni Badnaam, etc.
