The Government of Chhattisgarh has launched a scheme name Mahtari Vandan Yojana for the woman. This scheme aims to make the woman of the state financially self-reliant. Mahtari Vandan Scheme will enable the woman to develop their sources of income and support their families financially.
Mahtari Vandan Yojana announced by Home Minister Amit Shah. Only married and widow woman will get the benefit of the scheme. Through this scheme the woman the government will provide financial assistance of Rs.1000 every month to each woman. Means they will Rs.12000 in every year.
On 10 Mrach the Mahtari Vandan Scheme has inaugurated by PM Narendar Modi. On this day the first installment of Rs.655 Crore has released.

The Mahtari Vandan Yojana is scheme to provide financial support to woman of Chhattisgarh. Under this scheme the woman will get Rs.1000 for financial assistant. This scheme aims to empower the woman and made self-reliant of Chhattisgarh. To remove discrimination, inequality and lack of awareness towards women, to improve health and nutrition level and economic the government decided for this scheme. As it will give financial support.
Who are eligible for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana?
- Only married or widow will eligible to apply for the scheme.
- Only the residents of Chhattisgarh will able to apply
- Woman age should be between 23-60 years
- Only these woman can apply whose family income is less than 2.5 lakh
- The woman should have their won bank account

How to Apply for Mahtari Vandan Yojana
You can apply for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana in both online and offline. The woman who are eligible can apply online.
Steps for offline application
- First go through the Anganwadi Center / Ward Member / Panchayat Bhawan / Block or Office of Women and Child Development Department for application form or click on this https://mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in/ link online yourself, after which you will have to download the application form and take a print out.
- Fill the application form carefully
- Now take another form which is affidavit which have to fill up.
- The application form and affidavit along with all the required documents will have to be self-attested and attached.
- Finally, you have to submit the application form along with all the documents to the concerned office or officer and get the receipt etc.

- For online application first you need to visit official site of Mahtari Vandan Yojana https://mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in/.

- The online form will appear where you have to fill up the form
- Now you will have to download affidavit and fill up carefully
- Now upload the scanned documents along with affidavit
- Now click on submit button after which you will get the receipt of your application which will be available for you
