In the midst of this incident, today, August 21 another incident come out that a school teacher of Akola area of Maharashtra arrested on charge of molestation of six class 8 student of a school.
On August 20, Tuesday a 43 years old school teacher has arrested for repeatedly molesting six class 8 students while showing porn video.
The teacher identified as Pramos Sardar, who sexually assaulting six students for four months on the Zilla Parihad School Campus at Kazikheda hamlet in Balapur taluka, which is 40km off Aloka city.
What the FIR said about the Maharashtra School Teacher who got arrested on molestation charge
The incident came into light after a complaint received by child helpline about the school teacher. The complainant has dial the 1098 helpline number and filed a complaint.
Following the complaint, the member of child welfare committee visited the school on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. They didn’t revealed the purpose of their visit at school, CWC members conducted an hour-long session at the school and informed staff that they needed to speak with Class 8 girls individually.
During the interaction with the girl of eight opened up on trauma they were experiencing for the past four months. The CWC member immediately called the police and registered an FIR.
Superintendent of police Akolka Bachchan Singh told news agency ANI that the “Akola Police received a complaint of molestation of six school girls by Pramod Manohar Sardar a teacher of Zilla Prasad School in Kajikhed. Police immediately arrested the accused teacher and recorded the statements of the victim girls.
“Cases under sections 74 and 75 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita and POCSO Act were registered,” SP Singh added
Principal of the school, Ravindra Samdur said he was socked. He said, “If I had to know about the incident, I would have the first act. It was when the CWC team visited our school and spoke to the girls that we came to know about the crime.”
