Maha Shivrartri this year falls on February 26, 2025. i.e. tomorrow, several people want to know will the bank will remain closed on during Maha Shivratri festive.
Bank will remain closed in 18 states of India including, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, during Maha Shivratri on Feb 26, 2025.

Since physical bank branches will closed, customers won’t be able to use offline banking services. However, online banking will work as usual, allowing them to make transactions, pay bills, and use other services.
Apart from Bank all the government and private school and colleges will remain closed on February 26, 2025.
Will Stock market will remain closed?
The Stock Market will remain closed during Maha Shivratri. Apart from it on March the Stock Market will witnessed two holidays one on Holi, March 14, and another on Id-Ul-Fitr, March 31.
