Guwahati police arrested six-member gang of Robbers following successful operation, sources said on Sunday.
According to reports, that the arrested gang was involved in multiple robberies in the area across Guwahati, and was caught during a coordinated raid.
Police sources said several cases had been registered against them at different police stations in the city.
The operation was led by Officer-in-Charge Jyotishman Neog of Latasil Police Station, who played a key role in cracking the case.
The arrested individuals are Sadek Ali, Akbar Ali, Lokman Ali, Abu Bakkar Siddique, and Saidul Rahman from Darrang district, and Joynal Abdin from Barpeta district.
