On June 6, a team of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam has launched an operation in Officer of Guwahati Revenue Circle, Kamrup (M). In this operation the team arrested a middle man who accepted bribe in conspiracy with a government employee.
According to information, a team of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption trapped red handed a middle who accepted bribe from the complainant for Namjari related work. The Middle man, identified as Mahfujur Rahman who accepted the bribe in conspiracy with Lot Mandal of Guwahati Revenue Circle, Kamrup (M).
The Lot Mandal identified as Swapna Medhi, Officer of Guwahati Revenue Circle, Kamrup (M). In the same trap Swapna Medhi also arrested for demanding bribe and accepting it through middleman in conspiracy with him.
The Middleman arrested for accepting 10,000 as a part of demanded bribe from the complainant for Namjari related work.
The Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption has announced this news via there official social platform. They wrote, “Today @DIR_VAC_ASSAM trapped red handed Mahfujur Rahman,a middleman,after he accepted bribe from the complainant in O/O Guwahati Revenue Circle,Kamrup(M), in conspiracy with Swapna Medhi,Lot Mandal of the Circle for namjari related work.”
In the same trap operation, Swapna Medhi, Lot Mandal of O/O Circle Officer,Guwahati Revenue Circle, Kamrup (M) has also been apprehended from the office for demanding bribe and accepting it through the middleman, in conspiracy with him.
