A Doctor of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital passed away after battling cancer for a long time on Saturday.
According to some reports, the doctor has been receiving treatment for last ten months. The doctor identified as Dr Anindita Patowary, was a demonstrator in the Microbiology Department at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). She was just 32 years old.
She passed away at Health City Hospital in Guwahati.
She was lived with her Bhargav Kalita, and their one-year-old son, whom she lived behind after death. The death comes on an especially day, as it coincident with the first birthday of her child.
Dr. Patowary was a bright and talented person, admired not only for her academic skills but also for her interests outside of medicine. She was skilled in music and Sattriya dance, making her a respected and loved figure both professionally and personally.
