The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha is set to launch Saugat-e-Modi campaign, which aims to support the unprivileged Muslims across the country by distributing special kits during Eid 2025.
This initiates, taking off from Nizamuddin in Delhi on Tuesday under the guidance of JP Nadda BJP National President. It seeks to ensure that poor Muslims families can celebrate Eid without tension or hardship.
The campaign initially aims to ensure that economically weaker sections may celebrate Eid without any tensions. As a part off the campaign almost 32,000 Minority Morcha will collaborate with 32,000 mosques.
About Saugat-e-Modi Campaign
Saugat-e-Modi is a campaign which set to launch to distribute special kits to the poor Muslims family to celebrate Eid without hardship. It will launch by BJP Minority Morcha. National President of the BJP Minority Morcha, Jamal Siddiqui, outlined the campaigns boarder, by stating that during the holy month of Ramadan and upcoming occasions like Eid, Good Friday, Easter, Nauruz and the Indian New Year.
Yasir Zilani, the national media in-charge of the Minority Morcha, said the initiative aims to spread awareness about welfare schemes for Muslims while also boosting BJP and NDA’s political outreach.
The campaign particularly focused to distribute gift to the poor families during Ramzan and Eid. Under this campaign, the party plans to reach 32 lakh Muslim families.
The “Saugat-e-Modi” kits will include food, clothes, vermicelli, dates, dry fruits and sugar. Women’s kits will have fabric for suits, while men’s kits will have kurta-pyjamas. According to sources, each kit is expected to cost around 500 to 600 rupees.
