In the early morning of Saturday, a four-storey building collapse in northeast Delhi. In this incident at least 4 people died, 14 rescued and dozens of people feared trapped, under the debris police said.
The building collapse incident reported at around 3:30 am in the Mustafabad area of Delhi. According to police, 14 people rescued from the debris and sent at GTB Hospital. 4 people declared dead upon arrival.
The incident captured at the CCTV. In the CCTV footage it can be seen a sudden spark and a thick cloud of dust filled the alley, making it impossible to continue recording.

Emergency officials including NDRF, Police, Delhi Fire Services arrived at the accident spot and started rescue operation. A Senior official stated that, 14 people rescued and 8-12 people feared trapped.
Divisional Fire Officer Rajendra Atwal said they got the call about the collapse at around 2:50 am. When the fire team arrived, they saw that the whole building had fallen and some people were trapped inside.
Mustafabad MLA and BJP leader Mohan Singh Bisht blamed the officials for the incident. He said he had warned two months ago that allowing the construction of illegal buildings could cause such disasters, according to news agency ANI.
“Strict action should be taken against the authorities. By allowing unauthorised buildings, they have invited this disaster,” Bisht told ANI.
