Cachar police has seized a huge amount of Yaba Tablets worth Rs 9 Crore from Silchar-Aizwal Bypass, one arrested in connection of it.
Based on tip off, Cachar police on January 29 Silchar Aizawl Bypass area from where police intercepted an auto rickshaw coming from neighbouring State. After searching the auto police managed to recovered 30,000 Yaba tablets.
The market value of the seized items would be Rs 9 Crore. Police arrested one man in connection of it.
Further investigation is going. The operation is a part of Assam Against Drugs mission.

In a source based operation carried out by Cachar Police in Silchar Aizawl Bypass, an auto rickshaw was intercepted and on thorough search 30,000 YABA tablets coming from a neighbouring State was recovered.
