Cachar Police has seized a huge amount of drugs worth Rs.6.2 Crore drugs in Dholai, on July 19, 2025 and arrested two.
Based on secret inputs, police has carried out Anti-Narcoticsin Dholai’s Saptagram on July 19, where they intercepted a vehicle on Silchar-Aizawl NH-306. From the vehicle police managed to recovered and seized 1.22 kgs of Heroin worth ₹6.22 crore.
Police also arrest two individuals including a woman. They are identified as Mickal Lairemruth and Merina Neitingfol.
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma stated, “Based on credible intelligence, an anti narcotics operation was carried out by Cachar Police at Saptagram area under Dholai Police Station and seized : 1.22 kgs of Heroin worth ₹6.22 crore. 2 were arrested in this regard.”
To make Assam drug Free, this type of operation will continue.
